The Zahrbock Funeral Home announces the death of 94-year-old Ella Thomson of Madison Healthcare Facility who passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Prairie Lakes Hospital, Watertown, SD. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, Madison, MN. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Dawn Quame and Rev. Roy Noel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be the Louisburg Lutheran Cemetery.
Ella Thomson is survived by her children; Barb (Tom) Schmieg of Louisburg, Peggy Dittes (Jim) Bornhorst of Madison, Curtis (Annette) Thomson of Louisburg, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, sister Charlene (Matthew) Karels of Ortonville, and brother-in-law Maynard Thomson of Wolverton.
